Christ United Methodist Church Mission Trip
[envira-gallery id=”607″]IEC had the opportunity to donate to a St. Louis Mission Trip sponsored by Christ United Methodist Church in Lafayette, IN.
A group of 11 high school students and four volunteer adults were fortunate enough to participate in such a rewarding experience. The students volunteered at the St. Louis inner city food pantry as well as the St. Louis inner city center for the homeless, particularly the pregnant while homeless. This experience allowed the students to feel like they had made a significant impact towards working for good in the world, as well as giving them an invaluable new perspective on the lives of people who are different than them. IEC would like to thank Stephanie Hanslow for allowing IEC to make a difference in the lives of our youth.
